Book Recommendations and Reading Challenges

Signing up for a Beanstack account allows you to receive book recommendations as well as participate in the library's reading challenges throughout the year. We use Beanstack for Summer at the Library, as well as for seasonal reading challenges or hide and seek activities for kids. You can create a single account that includes all the readers in your family.

You can find book and author read-a-likes, book discussions, award winners, and bestseller lists. You can also search for books on specific subjects, and narrow results by grade level, lexile reading level, cultural identity and more.

Most schools in Woodland use AR quizzes to test kids on books they have read. The AR Bookfinder website is a quick and easy way to determine a book's level and AR points.
