Celebrate the Woodland Public Library's 150th anniversary! We are challenging our patrons all year long to read 150 minutes every month, complete activities from a list of 150 choices, or even read 150 books!

From October 1st, 2024 to October 31st, 2025, patrons of all ages are encouraged to log their reading and participate in library activities. There are so many ways to play along in our reading challenge!

Reading Every Month:

• If you read 150 minutes for 4 months, you will receive an engraved bookmark!
• If you read 150 minutes for 8 months, you will receive an embroidered patch!
• And...if you read 150 minutes for all 12 months, you will receive a very special limited edition platinum library card!

Reading Books:

For every ten books you read, you will receive a raffle ticket.

• The adult raffle prize is your own personal parking spot at the library for a year with a customized sign!
• The teen raffle prize is a private laser tag party in the library for your friends!
• The kids' raffle prize is a video game truck rental for up to 15 friends!

Completing Activities:

For every ten activities you complete, you will receive a raffle ticket. There are many raffle prizes for every age group:

• Skip the holds on your next book request! (1 adult, 1 teen, 1 kid)
• Ride along on the bookmobile! (1 adult, 1 teen, 1 kid)
• Personal bookmobile visit with pizza and ice cream! (1 adult, 1 teen, 1 kid)
• Sleepover at the library with your friends! (1 adult, 1 teen, 1 kid)
• VIP Library Experience! (1 kid)
