  1. Science and Society Discussion Series: Tuleyome and Woodland Regional Park

    “From Trash to Trails- Coming Soon! Woodland Regional Park & Preserve” with Dr. Lars Anderson Dr. Anderson retired in 2013 after a 37-year career with the USDA where he directed and conducted basic and applied research on the biology and management of invasive aquatic plants. quin Delta, Lake Tahoe, Washington, DC, Alaska, Brazil, Mexico, and Australia. As a community volunteer, he served on the Explorit Science Center Board for over 30 years and he has been a docent at the Jepson Prairie Preserve for the past 20 years. While he was on the Explorit Science Center Board, Lars participated in Tuleyome’s original science/nature center planning process, which led to the Woodland Regional Park development. This collaboration resulted in successful grants focusing on development of the Regional Park. He joined the Tuleyome Board of Directors two years ago where he continues his efforts to fully develop the Woodland Regional Park.
